2007 Popcorn Sale

Kickoff Day- October 19th & 20th

It is possible for your unit to reach its sales goal in one day. Provided you know your sales goal. When each Scout has a personal sales goal, the overall total for your unit will be greater than if you just set a goal for the unit. Unit leaders and parents need to be excited and support the program 100% for your Scouts to really be successful. The more excitement you create the more fun for everyone.

When a boy fills a page (25 lines) on the popcorn sales form, he can bring in or fax a copy of the form to the Northwest Texas Council Office at 940 691-0920 and his name will be entered in special drawings for four DVD Players.  The final drawing will be for a Big Screen TV.  You get one chance for each form you send in by 5 pm Friday.  If your name is not drawn, your name stays in the hat for the next drawing, so fax in as many full sheets as you can, as fast as you can, so that you will have the most chances possible for the four prizes.  One prize will be given away each week, so the sooner you get your forms in, the better your chances to win. Names will be drawn on Monday morning and you will be notified that afternoon.

 These prizes are in addition to the ones you are eligible for, listed in the popcorn brochure.

**Order pick-up
Orders will be picked up at Dwight Transfer and Storage located at 410 5th Street, Wichita Falls.  Pick-up Day will be Nov. 11^th.  Units will be notified of their pick-up time, which is listed below. We will be starting with the largest orders first at 8am. The following Must be turned in when you pick up your popcorn:

1. Prize order forms (Pink sheets)
2. $1500.00+ sales forms
3. $2500.00+ sales Scholarship form
4. 1 Check for popcorn!!!

Sales increases will be calculated by your 2006 sales that are on the Trails End website. The percentages will not be pro-rated.

Ordering
Orders are due Monday, November 19^th by 5pm. If you wish to send your order in by the Trails-end site, you must contact Mike Mitchell to make sure that your unit is set up in the system Orders must be in case lots only!

Order pick-up

Council Incentives

For Cub Scouts-

$1000 sales-Paid NWTC Cub Day Camp fee
$2000 sales-Paid NWTC Cub Day Camp and Resident Camp

For Boy Scouts-

$1000 sales--$50 of camp fee*
$2000 sales--$100 of camp fee*
$3000 sales--$150 of camp fee*

Camp fee paid will be to attend a BSA accredited summer camp or High Adventure Base. Money will be paid directly to the council where the BSA camp is located.

All forms will be in the unit packets. If more are needed, please pick up more at the Council Service Center.

 Unit checks will be cashed on Friday, December 21st
