Camporee PDF Print E-mail

Camporee is an annual camping event in which Scouts and leaders setup and run competitive Scouting events. The Scouts participate in the events by Patrol (a group of 4 to 8 Scouts). Patrols compete in events that require the knowledge of general Scouting skills and many events require a knowledge of ropes, knots and lashings.

The Patrols are watched as they participate in the events and then are rated, by the Scouters running the events, as to which Patrols best exemplified the Scout Oath and Law during their competition.
