The New Leader Essentials training is the second step in training (after Fast Start) for all traditional programs divisions of Scouting. It gives an overview of each of the programs and how they fit together to achieve the mission and purpose of the Boy Scouts of America. Procedures and safety considerations common to all programs are also covered

The program is fast paced, fun and lasts approximately 90 minutes.

This training usually takes place at the Council Service Center, but can be done on location if you have enough people available to take it. Cost is usually $5.
